FCIC organizes monthly outdoor activities provide an active and fun environment for students and community members to enjoy the beauty of Colorado and surrounding states together.  Activities include hiking, skiing, snowshoeing and more!


Snowshoe to Zimmerman Lake

Date: Saturday, December 11th, 2021

Location: Zimmerman Lake at Cameron Pass, Colorado.

Meet Time: 7:00 AM at International House (1400 W Elizabeth)

Return time: 4:00 PM (16:00) to International House (may come back earlier depending on the weather)

Cost: $15.00 for transportation

Required equipment: comfortable winter boots and warm socks, hat, gloves, snow pants (water and wind proof), extra layers, water, lunch and…a desire to have fun! This is an easy to moderate snow shoe trip but you will need to be prepared to handle the cold and snow.

NOTE: you will need to rent Snowshoes by Friday night (December 10th) as we will not have time to get them on Saturday morning.
