FCIC organizes monthly outdoor activities provide an active and fun environment for students and community members to enjoy the beauty of Colorado and surrounding states together. Activities include hiking, skiing, snowshoeing and more!
Michigan Ditch Snowshoe
Join the Fort Collins International Center (FCIC) for this beautiful snowshoe trip in along the Michigan Ditch Trail in Cameron Pass. This is an easy to moderate trail, where you will snowhoe 8.8 km (5.5 miles) and gain approximately 52 meters in elevation (170 feet).
Date: Saturday, February 8, 2025
Meet time: 7 am at International House, 1400 W. Elizabeth St
Return time: 6 pm
Cost: $15 for transportation.
Please bring:
comfortable winter boots and warm socks, hat, gloves, snow pants (water and wind proof), extra layers, water, lunch and…a desire to have fun! This is an easy to moderate snow shoe trip but you will need to be prepared to handle the cold and snow.
NOTE: you will need to rent Snowshoes on Friday (February 7) as we will not have time to get them on Saturday morning. You can rent snowshoes at the Outdoor Programs desk in the Student Rec Center, at JAX Mercantile, REI, or the Gearage.
