FCIC organizes monthly outdoor activities provide an active and fun environment for students and community members to enjoy the beauty of Colorado and surrounding states together. Activities include hiking, skiing, snowshoeing and more!
Young Gulch Hike
Join FCIC for a hike to Young Gulch trail. This moderately challenging hike will be approximately 17 kilometers (about 10.5 miles) with about 366 meters (1,200 feet) elevation gained. This is a beautiful trail, going along Young and Prairie Gulch, crossing a stream numerous times. The hike is scenic with a slow climb, passing through trees and a meadow, as well as the stream in various locations.
Date: Saturday, November 16, 2024
Meet time: 8 am at International House, 1400 W. Elizabeth St
Return time: 6 pm
Cost: $10 for transportation.
Please bring: Comfortable hiking boots, lunch and water. We recommend dressing in layers. Please check the weather to make sure to have extra clothes if it gets cold or it rains.
