Connections, Intercultural Awareness & Global Understanding

As our mission is to help the international community we want to ensure that you and your community are supported with any resource they may need. Below is a list of several resources we have provided in hopes of helping you. These resources also are not solely for the international community but for anyone who would like to connect, increase their intercultural awareness and global understanding. We also provide some resources to exchange programs.

 Colorado State University is the Fort Collins International Center’s number one partner in fostering friendships and developing understanding among people from around the world. Learn more.

The Poudre River Public Library District is home to the International Nights sponsored by the Fort Collins International Center. Learn more.

The Institute of International Education (IIE) is a national organization which houses a regional office in Denver, Colorado. Learn more.

 Association of International Educators (NAFSA) is an international organization committed to the enhancement of international education and exchange and global. Learn more.

The Colorado Translators Association is a regional group affiliated with the American Translators Association (ATA), the largest professional society of translators and foreign. Learn more.

India Association of Rockies (IAOR) is an organization founded in 2012 formed to serve communities in and around Longmont and Northern Colorado.

The Northern Colorado Intertribal Pow-wow Association (NCIPA), a non-profit organization, was created in the summer of 1992. Learn more.

Fuerza Latina is an organization of immigrants for immigrants. We are dedicated to educating, informing, organizing, and promoting change to facilitate an improved quality of life for immigrants in our community. Learn more.
