“Goa is very famous all over India and Europe because of its sunny beaches and old churches. Take a flight to Mumbai and from there, fly to Panji, the capital of the small state of Goa. Once in Panji, you can visit beaches like Calangute Beach, Baga Beach, Anjuna Beach, Small Vagator, Big Vagator and Arambol Beach.

There are many entertainment options like surfing, kayaking, jet skiing, sailing and windsurfing. You can find food from all parts of the world and it is very cheap and tasty.

The beaches are beautiful and you can roam along the sea till 12-1 a.m. The place is safe and guarded by the police all the time. People can also see movies and sports from all over the world on wide screen TVs in all restaurants.

My biggest surprise was the church where we saw the preserved body of a saint from the 15th century. The body has been preserved with great care by the church and you can even see the saint’s face. You can also visit the city of Panji, which is surrounded by the river which flows through it.

The best memory I brought back was the feeling of light warm-heartedness. People were so good, helpful and friendly; and they can also be great guides. They did not seem to have any worries. They just ate, drank and were merry.

This place is great during the monsoon, when it is a honeymooners’ paradise. The best time to visit is between October and March. There is a carnival during the month of December, when the place is very busy and decorated beautifully. Motor-cycles and cars can be rented only if one has an international driver’s license, so don’t forget to bring that.”
